Who doesn’t love to shop and save money and eat? According to Visit Philly, the Midtown Village Fall Festival takes the concept of a block party to an ultra-fun level. This single family-friendly event is for any age, take a stroll during the afternoon in the neighborhood while enjoying eats from the many surrounding restaurants, my favorite part which of course is, shopping is taking place from the numerous boutiques that line 13th Street and browsing the festival vendors set up on the street.
Old City Fest

Bring the whole family to the Old City Fest to celebrate the neighborhood’s shops, galleries, parks and more.
According to Philadelphians, you will meet, Artists, designers, entertainers, and restaurateurs as they all come out to celebrate the neighborhood’s creative spirit during the Old City Festival. Which means we have first-hand dibs on many new products the business will market. The location is everything, with the vintage old bricked roads, you will surely feel as if you stepped out of a time machine. Take a stroll throughout several blocks along North 3rd and Arch streets, find activities, exhibitions, and programs that appeal to all your families needs. Don’t worry, there is always room for our 21- and over crowd, whether you love beer gardens mixtinis and cosmos our lovely city has something for everyone.
Cai Guo-Qiang: Fireflies on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway

Last chance to catch Cai Guo-Qiang: Fireflies, which is beautiful artwork consisting of 27 luminous, kinetic sculptures in the form of free pedicabs. Yes, you read correctly. How amazing is that? The best part is it’s completely free, be sure to sign up in advance, as tickets are limited! The location is gorgeous with beautiful buildings and museums, the pedicabs light up the Benjamin Franklin Parkway with the public exhibition, which invites participants to take a ride between Sister Cities Park and Iroquois Park, passing by the many iconic institutions along the Parkway.

Bloktoberfest is for all ages to celebrate (bitescourt took place at this event last year, and boy did we have a splendid time!) which consist of beer, food, and music that stretches across along four blocks of South Street. This event is for a full eight-hours, (amazing I know) party with friends or strangers who are filling South Street with laughter and dance moves, nothing but with entertainment and plenty of opportunities to let dance like no ones watching!
Harry Potter Festival
OCTOBER 20-21, 2017
Get your wands and spells ready. Chestnut Hill’s will become home to all us Hogwarts students. Harry Potter Festival is taking over 12 full blocks in the charming castle-like neighborhood in Philadelphia. This amazing Harry Potter Festival in Chestnut Hill bring your Wands if not there will be wands for sale as you stroll down the Wizards Night on the Avenue, Magical Make and Take Zones, the Eighth Annual Philadelphia Brotherly Love Cup Quidditch Tournament at Chestnut Hill College, Harry Potter quizzo, a Deatheater’s dance party, potion making, wizarding demonstrations, a muggles read-a-thon, the popular straw maze at Woodmere Art Museum and so much more.
