Events to Attend in Philadelphia on July 4th

Welcome to the city of brotherly love and the heart of Independence. Family and friends will be all over the city searching for events to celebrate the great country we live in. To help narrow down your search, we found five events that are sure to be memorable for all those who attend.

1.July 4th Celebration of Freedom Independence Day Parade

Time: 10 a.m. – noon

Location: Independence Hall, 520 Chestnut Street, Philadelphia, PA

The Independence Day parade consists of two celebrations (Celebration fo Freedom Ceremony and The Independence Parade). Enjoy a day of patriotic bands, a tribute to Philly favoirtes Boyz II Men, and colorful floats parading the city!

2.Penns Landing Fireworks

Time: 7 p.m. -10 p.m.

Location: Barkentine Gazela (101 S Columbus Blvd, Philadelphia, PA)

Check out another area of the city and watch fireworks from the middle of the Deleware River on Columbus Blvd. Enjoy a front seat view of fireworks with cherished pals. You can order your tickets here.

3.Party on the Parkway & Wawa Welcome America

Time: 12 p.m. – 7 p.m.

Location: Benjamin Franklin Parkway (2451 Benjamin Franklin Pkwy, Philadelphia, PA)

This event is going to be huge in Philadelphia! Family and friends can visit to enjoy musical performances by Kidz BOP, Mary J Blige, The Philly POPS BIG Band and other local artists. Guests can also enjoy two beer gardens and food from the Philly Groove Stage.

4.Phillies Game at Citizen Bank Park


Time: 4:05 p.m. – N/A

Location: 1 Citizens Bank Way, Philadelphia, PA

Watch the Phillies go face to face with our sworn rivals, the Pittsburgh Pirates. Everyone 21+ can get $3 beers and with a valid ticket stub can receive 50% off appetizers.

5.National Constitution Center

Location: 525 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA

Visit the National Constitution Center to encounter an array of segments glorifying the Declaration of Independence. Join arts and craft activities or watch performers represent the history of the Revolutionary War.
